We took a year-long creative break and what happened? The world, or the internet, or both at the same time were hijacked by a sinister horde of alt-right psychopaths who glorify the worst horrors of patriarchy. In a gloomy realm known as the manosphere, the rise of strongmen has created a misogynistic world of ultraconservative ideologies, men’s rights, and incel culture. It’s a system of alphas, betas, gammas, omegas and sigmas. A system based on capital, genetic dominance, meat-eating, and survival of the fittest.

Let’s pause for a moment. How did we end up here? One moment we were queerfully enjoying the liberation of trans rights, the legalisation of abortion and the shrinking gender pay gap, and the next this? Where does this massive backlash of toxic masculinity and all this hate come from? Of course it has always been there, somewhere, lurking in some Reddit holes or at the end of endless Telegram doomscrolls. But today? Today, it is TikTok; it is best-selling podcast; it is political reality.

Since everything was better before we took our creative break, we decided to make a quick comeback. We need to provide a delightful counterweight to this dreadful, burdening hell of a strongmen’s cave. Or even a counter-narrative. So, we’re back with a new Fearelli, full of the wildest backlash horrors. Twelve colourful pages of nightmares from the manosphere, with its ridiculous rituals, crazy Instagram trends, and its psychotic, misogynistic, presumptuous, and truly dangerous characters.
